1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using 1KAHU, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced in them. If you use 1KAHU on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement and meet any minimum age required in your country. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials and all activity performed through your account.
Professional and business users must keep licenses, qualifications, insurance, contact details and other information required for their services accurate and current.
Phone verification and SMS messages
To activate or secure your 1KAHU account, you may be required to verify your phone number. By requesting a verification code, you consent to receive a one-time SMS verification message from 1KAHU at the phone number you provide. One message is sent per request, although additional messages may be sent if you request another code. Standard message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP where supported. For assistance, reply HELP where supported or contact us through our contact page. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. The 1KAHU platform
1KAHU provides technology that helps pet guardians and pet care professionals manage information, discover services, communicate and arrange appointments. Unless expressly stated otherwise, 1KAHU does not itself provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment or other professional pet care services.
Information available through 1KAHU is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. In an emergency, contact an appropriate veterinary professional or emergency service immediately.
4. Appointments and services
Service descriptions, availability, pricing, cancellation rules and professional qualifications are provided by the relevant service provider. Guardians are responsible for reviewing those details before making a booking.
Appointments may be accepted, declined, rescheduled, cancelled or reopened according to the options shown in the service. Users must provide accurate information that may be relevant to the safety and delivery of care.
5. Payments and charges
Where payment features are available, charges may be processed by third-party payment providers. Additional payment, refund, cancellation or subscription terms presented during checkout form part of these terms. You are responsible for applicable fees, taxes and authorized charges associated with your account.
6. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as reviews, posts, comments, images and profile information. You grant 1KAHU a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate, secure and improve the services.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content. Do not upload unlawful, misleading, infringing, harmful or privacy-invasive material.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- misuse the services or interfere with their normal operation;
- access accounts, systems or information without authorization;
- submit malicious code, fraudulent information or harmful content;
- scrape, copy or reverse engineer the services except where permitted by law;
- use 1KAHU to harass others or facilitate unlawful activity;
- manipulate reviews, bookings, payments or platform metrics.
8. Intellectual property
The 1KAHU services, software, branding, interfaces and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the services under these terms, no rights are transferred to you.
9. Third-party services
1KAHU may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services, and 1KAHU is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using 1KAHU at any time. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse or enforce these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific outcomes from a service provider or the accuracy of content supplied by other users.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, 1KAHU will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from use of the services. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the services or applicable law. We will publish the revised version and update the date shown above. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
